Mission Statement/Function

The mission of the San Jose Prayer meeting is to be the “Arms of God” that reach out to all people, the unbelievers as well as the believers.  A place where the Gifts of the Holy Spirit can be seen and the people are moved to set these Gifts into action.  A place where Jesus, our brother can be seen in each of us as the God who lives.

 

Meetings:

Spanish - Tuesday 1st and 2nd Thursday, after 7 PM Mass, Sacred Heart Chapel

Bilingual - Tuesday, 7:00-9:00 PM, Parish Hall


First Friday Adoration

Mission Statement/Function

The First Friday Adoration ministry provides all night adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament.  If promotes a true knowledge and understanding of Jesus’ Gift of Love and Life in the Holy Eucharist.

 

Meetings: Every First Friday of the month at 5:45 PM Mass, in the Sacred Heart Chapel.


Society of the Blessed Sacrament

Mission Statement/Function

To help people become aware of the graces awaiting those who are willing to take the time from their busy schedules to watch and pray with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

 

When we adore the Lord in His Holy Presence, we accomplish His will to know, love, and serve Him in this world.  Jesus is inviting us.  “Won’t you come and spend an hour with Me?”  Let us not refuse the time to go and meet Him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and opened to make amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world.

Sacred Heart Prayer Group

Mission Statement/Function

We support our parish in prayer and provide a weekly prayer group for those interested in quiet and simple prayer to help in our Blessed Mother’s Peace Plan, through the intercessory prayer for our parish priests, parishioners, and for the salvation of souls.

 

Meetings: Monday, 6:45-8:45 PM, Our Lady of Guadalupe Cry Room (Main Church)
