We
are a diverse community who is called to greater love and knowledge of our
faith. We are committed to sharing our

On
Pentecost the Holy Spirit descended and appeared as tongues of fire over the
heads of Mary and the disciples and gave them power to speak of Jesus Christ
and his gospels. (Acts 2:1-4)

Mission Statement/Function
Our
mission is to provide a variety of opportunities for teenagers to grow
emotionally, spiritually, and socially into healthy, productive members of the
Body of Christ. Our belief is that Jesus
Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Our prayer is that the youth may come to own this belief and live their
lives accordingly. Our hope is that we
as a community be an example to our youth through our love and our actions.

The Quinceañera
celebration is a time when families and friends unite to honor and celebrate
God’s gift of life. It is a time when a
young person, usually a girl, but not exclusive of boys, comes to the House of
the Lord to ask for God’s blessing upon their future. Let us get back to the more traditional
celebration, to simpler, more spiritual approach when it comes to this unique años celebration.
This celebration need not be costly at all, so that all who wish to
participate may do so. The Mass and the
blessings of the Lord is primary value of the celebration.
Meetings:
Here at San Jose, Quinceañeras are celebrated 6 times
a year. The dates for the celebrations
are set by the Church. Parents are
advised to contact the Religious Education Office before making any plans for a
specific date.
